In his 20 years as a plaintiff’s attorney, Michael Schafle ("Mike"), a founding partner, has racked up an impressive resume for his work on a series of multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements and is widely recognized as a top litigator in unsafe drugs and medical device injury cases as well as representing individuals that have developed asbestos related diseases such as mesothelioma.

## Background and Education
In 2001, Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He was a member of the following national honor societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu, and Phi Eta Sigma. He was also the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding Student Achievement in Business Studies for graduating first in his class.
He received his law degree from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Mike received highest honors in Legal Research and Writing, as well as the Law Faculty Scholarship, a scholarship awarded to students with outstanding undergraduate records and LSAT scores.
Mike is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. In addition, he has been admitted to practice, pro hac vice, in numerous federal district courts throughout the country.
Mike currently resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife and three daughters.
