Green & Schafle Attorneys Selected for 2024 Super Lawyers & Rising Stars

Michael Schafle by Michael Schafle, Founding Partner of Green & Schafle

Green & Schafle, LLC is proud to announce that four of our attorneys have been selected for inclusion this year in the 2024 Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Pennsylvania publication.

Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers to receive this honor, and only 2.5% of lawyers are chosen as Rising Stars. [Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business](https://www.superlawyers.com/about/), is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. We are proud of our trial lawyers who continue to advocate for injured victims in practice areas including vaccine injury, class actions, mass torts, product liability, general personal injury and securities litigation. Over the last year, the attorneys at Green & Schafle have delivered exceptional results for their clients: Green & Schafle co-founder [Michael Schafle](https://www.greenlegalteam.com/michael-schafle/) continues to win big for his clients affected by mesothelioma – including two multi-million settlements in 2023. In addition to Michael’s mass tort litigation, he was able to secure a seven-figure civil rights recovery for an individual involved in a shooting case that received media attention nationwide. Mike’s unrelenting success representing mesothelioma victims of asbestos and other dangerous products, led to his inclusion as a 2024 Super Lawyer for Class Action/Mass Torts law in Pennsylvania. Green & Schafle co-founder [Adam Green](https://www.greenlegalteam.com/adam-green/) and partner [Stephen Specht](https://www.greenlegalteam.com/steve-specht/) delivered a $2,000,000 settlement in 2023 for an off-duty police officer that was struck by a construction vehicle and sustained a cervical spine injury. Despite the defendant arguing that the police officer had a preexisting injury, Adam & Stephen were able to prove that the officer’s spinal injury was caused by the accident. Adam Green & Stephen Specht’s ongoing ability to win big for those injured in accidents led to their inclusion as a Super Lawyer and Rising Star, respectfully, for Personal Injury General: Plaintiff Law in Pennsylvania. Green & Schafle Partner, [David Carney](https://www.greenlegalteam.com/david-carney/), was elected president of the VIP Bar Association in June of 2023 and continues to fight for those injured by vaccines. In fact, David has resolved over 30 vaccine cases in the last year and took several cases to trial when the merits of the case were contested by the HHS. Most recently, an award of over $500,000 was obtained by Mr. Carney for a [client that developed GBS following a flu shot](https://www.greenlegalteam.com/news/2024/05/07/david-carney-obtains-500k-award-for-client-who-suffered-gbs-after-a-flu-vaccine/). This substantial award will allow the client to receive the continued care he needs following the vaccine injury. Mr. Carney’s continued leadership in vaccine litigation led to his inclusion in the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for Personal Injury Products: Plaintiff Law. Green & Schafle Founding Partners Mike Schafle and Adam Green are pleased with their attorney’s continued inclusion in [Super Lawyers](https://digital.superlawyers.com/superlawyers/pasl24/MobilePagedReplica.action?pm=2&folio=Cover#pg1) and are very excited for what the future holds. “We are extremely honored to be named Super Lawyers in 2024 and we extend our congratulations to the other honorees,” said Green. “Our Firm is almost entirely referral-based so we very much appreciate the trust our referral partners have shown us over the years and look forward to continued success in the years to come,” added Mike Schafle. Congratulations to our partners and the incredible work they do for our clients!
